Food security: The South Cariboo has a Meat Co-op

Launched yesterday at it's first AGM, the South Cariboo Meat Co-op looks like playing a significant role in the move towards sustainability and food security for the region and beyond. According to the coordinator:

Intuitively, we all know that local food, produced by a farmer or rancher we know, caringly prepared by local folks, and lovingly shared with family and friends is good for us and for our community.
